Dancing In The Living Room

This beautiful art of Tommy and Eric dancing in the living room was created by Panda.

I love this so much; from the details of their sharp mod suits, to the way they're holding each other, to the looks on their faces.

This is a rendering of an actual scene in And Then He Kissed Me. It takes place in Eric's flat after the boys have been to the gay mod club in Soho, Le Duce. The experience of being able to dance together and be openly affectionate in relative safety is a hugely liberating moment for Tommy and Eric.

Just after this scene, Tommy declares his love for Eric in a flood of anxious words and worries.

First Christmas

Here is another artwork created by the incredibly talented Panda.

This scene takes place in the sequel novella, What I Want For Christmas. Panda cleverly designed it to look like an old-fashioned Christmas card.

In this scene, Tommy and Eric exchange gifts in the wee small hours of their first Christmas Day together. I actually thought up this scene way back at the beginning of writing And Then He Kissed Me. When the boys go to Carnaby Street, Eric buys a tie that Tommy notes to himself doesn't really suit Eric that well. In this novella, it is revealed that Eric purchased the tie with Tommy in mind, despite the fact they were only friends at the time.
